My Grandma Vitrin

These are not mine as friends thought in last post.I just enjoy looking at them, they are still in grandpa house. And one day,not too far they'll go to different way and never be as complete as now.I think after 30,40 or more years in one vitrin they'll miss each other:(

Isn't it something how things that were probably bought in different places, at different times, just seem to 'belong' together? I like the robin best of all!

What neat little treasures your grandma have in her vitrin!

Yes, it's a pity when such wonderful collections have to go "apart" - I know what you mean. I have just a part of my grandparents precious crockery in our glas cabinet and I adore looking at it and use is as often as I can. My aunt got the rest when my grandma died.... I am still very sorry about this (knowing that she keeps her part in a big box somewhere in the cellar)....

Best wishes from Germany,
Anita
